There is a set file size limit and files greater than that limit cannot be uploaded to the media library. Additionally, certain unusual types of files (certain image or document formats) are not permitted in the media library due to security issues. When attempting to upload a file that is too large or one that is restricted, you will receive an error message on attempted upload detailing the reason for the rejection of the file. These settings can be changed, but only by consulting with Perisphere Media.
