When you embed videos using code provided from one of the third-party video services (e.g. YouTube, Vimeo, etc.) the embed code may not provide the proper code needed to make sure the video does not overflow the borders of the website when viewed on a tablet or mobile device. To remedy this situation, you may use the free web tool Embed Responsively. You select the service from which the video is coming, post its URL and select “Embed” to receive a code that will ensure that the video stays within the borders of the page in a mobile view and render properly in desktop view as well. Note that in the embed you will see height and width set to 100%. If needed, these percentages can be manually adjusted to make the video appear in proper proportion on your website page or post as needed. Trial and error experimentation may be needed.
